Yeah, that's right. I'm supposed to be sleeping because I have to get up at 6am for a morning flight back home, but I made gifs instead. I just learned and I'm having too much fun. Now I wanna screencap everything I own and make gifs out of it.

I really have to go to bed though, so I'll just post these five SHINee ones I made. I wanna capture every moment I loved in this mv. These five are just the beginning. xDD I hope you like them. I enjoy them tons. <3

OMG, so it's been rainy for a few days here and I've been sleeping pretty lightly since my visit. I woke up to the light sounds of rain against the shudders of the window right near my bed, but I dozed, so when I woke up a little, half asleep, I was sure it wasn't raining anymore. So you can imagine my sheer horror when thunder cracked right above the guest house, vibrated the whole CONCRETE STONE WHATEVERTHISPLACEISMADEOF building. I LITERALLY rose and flew out of my bed like the living dead, wide eyed and dry-sobbing, fumbling for the locks on my door, failing to open it quickly, and dashing to my dad's door after finally getting it open and knocking frantically. I THOUGHT THERE WAS A FLIPPIN EXPLOSION NOLIEFORSERIOUSWHATTHECRAAAAPPPPP. omg, you don't even know. I've NEVER heard thunder like that before.

When my dad opened the door, he'd been asleep of course, but he obviously heard it too:
*knock knock*
*door opens*
*sleepy dad emerges*
Raeven - "dad, d-did you hear that?" O__O;;;;
Dad - *squints* "Raeven, it's just thunder."
--after he'd said that, thunder hadn't even crossed my mind. Then I realized everything--
Raeven - "oooooohhhhhhhh" *walks backward to my room sheepishly* "I thought it was like, an explosion or something"
*dad laughs*
Dad - "What'd you do, fly out of bed to knock on my door? The safest place--if there was an explosion--would have been in your room"
Raeven -" well, I thought it was coming toward me. I was just trying to get out. I was half-asleep when I heard it"
*dad laughs*
Dad - *smiles* "go back to sleep"
Raeven - "k bye"

I went back to sleep and all I could think about was that god-awful sound. I mean, if it were a real explosion, -__- so scary.

Anyways!!! I'm going on a plane tomorrow. I'm not excited about it. I go from St. Thomas to Miami, then Miami to Orlando. Two flights. *sigh* I'm praying I'll be home safely. :3 I hate flying, guys. T____________________T I HATE IT.

be blessed. <3

P.S. Does anyone know how to add text to a gif through Photoshop Image Ready? It looked simple, but the animation won't move after I put text on it for some reason. It's no biggie, but it'd be nice to know.
haerae: (2pm friends)
Haha, I had an unannounced hiatus, because I'm lazy like that.

I finished my first year of JWU successfully and it's obviously Summer. I spent most of those days in my room, sleeping in and raiding the internetz, and catching up with my lovely buddies! <3 Alot of stuff happened, but theres too much to talk about, so I'll just bring things up as I go. Lemme just list a few highlights:

Gwyn found a norebang in Orlando! She went there first with her new buds and then Stasha and I went the next weekend. There were asians; they had the latest Kpop hits; it was amazing. Just like the ones we see in the dramas! I freaked! Very fun, but pretty chaotic after midnight. lol Drunken madness!!!

I went to ATL to see 2PM! OMG OGM OMG OMG OMG OMGOMG OMG O      M         G      O   M G     O     MG -----> Yeah Oh yasss. Talk about sexyyyyyyyyyyyyy. The concert was THA BOMB. It was incredibly hot and sweaty too. My first ever concert. I really thought I'd faint when I actually saw them, but I didn't. Oh God, imagine how disastrous that would be. I think my body'd just be trampled to the ground if I did. hehe
We were the first in line, somehow became somewhat of homies with Mark, and Gwyn and I actually spotted Chansung and Wooyoung(or maybe it was Junho because I saw orange hair) walking across the street to Centennial Park all incog and snazz. They almost got past us all without us fans knowing, but someone finally gave it away and started running for them. They weren't allowed to take pics, so they came back empty handed. I managed to get a pick of Chansung's back, and  it would've been a better pic if my hands weren't shaking for the camera(lol). But anywayz, it was a moment to remember. Now I need Big Bang and 2NE1 to come to America. I hope S. Korea takes this as an opportunity to spread its wings to the American music industry and show them some thingz. Kpop's gonna be a phenomenon, like, an exposed phenomenon. xD

Last Friday, I flew up to St. Thomas to see my daddy and the fam. It's great being with him again. To me, no lie, he's the coolest, smartest, most level-headed man in the world. I truly feel like I'm the daughter of a celebrity or something. <333 We're watchin the BET Awards right now. I come back home on the 21st. Tropical island weather's pretty cool, save for the no A/C half the time. I try to make the best of that part. :D

I'm gonna make this entry short simply because I want to watch Bad Guy, this new Kdrama. I'm in love with the ost songs and the lead actors, and the setting, and the mood. I'm intrigued. Others may not like it, Idk. But I'm hooked. keke So far, the story's great. xD There's crazy love shapes: triangle, square, idek. Brown Eyed Soul!!! They sing in it omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So yeah, I'm on ep 4 and I wanna watch more before it's time for me to go to bed.

Tomorrow! <33

be blessed.

ps. I really need to organize my tags.

They're the most advanced looking things we've made in this class in my opinion. Practical's tomorrow. I have to do a fruit pie, 3 mini specialty pies (turtle pie), and 3 tartlettes. I shall show you them! They're so preety!

The tart on the left's called Swiss Apple Flan. I didn't taste it, but it sure smelled good! I didn't really have time to have a piece (I was too concerned with getting stuff done). It's mainly just custard, apple slices, and crust, all baked together in a tart. The crust for all of these is called Short dough, and it's pretty much a cookie recipe. Tastes like a butter cookie, and omgah, those tartlettes are yummy! Well, I know what I want to do for meh besties when I come back home. ;D <3

The ones in the middle with the fruits on top are lemon tartlettes. A thin line of raspberry was piped on the bottom in the middle of the crust, and lemon curd was poured in as the filling. Lemon curd is da bomb! We were aloud to decorate these with any kind of fruit we wanted, so I just picked some strawberries, raspberries, kiwis, and blueberries, sliced them up and made designs out of them. And then brushed with apricot glaze for shine, with chopped almonds dressed on the sides. But in my opinion (and my group's), we could have totally gone without the almonds. Chef Pehoski had a specific request for how he wanted each tartlette to look, so we were still limited.

The almond tartlettes (on the far right) has a thin piping of apricot marmalade in the center and an almond filling (like a batter) is piped in as the filling. It's baked until the filling is baked, then topped with powdered sugar and garnished with a cute little toasted almond slice. :3

Today was a pretty relaxed day despite the hectic lab day in class. Dishes were EVERYWHERE in the dishroom, and no one was claiming to wash them because they were all busy themselves, so they piled up at an overwhelming rate at the end of the day. I was the last in my group to get things done for that day, but I'm  confident that I'll have everything finished on time. *sigh* Practical days are crazy. AND there's a written exam before any of that good stuff. This is what I have to expect for all of my classes on the 8th and 9th day. >.<;;;;;

After class, I changed clothes, got my package from nana, which had my Zune in it, and drove to a Best Buy to finally get my two front speakers put in. I only had it done though because nana didn't know I didn't have working heat in my car. When my sound system gets put in the right way, my air's supposed to magically work again, and it does now. It's. . . HEA VEN LY. And so is the sound. But it isn't as magical as Gwyn's of course. haha. Even though hers is beginning to fart sometimes, it doesn't even compare to mine. Hers makes mine look like an ailing chihuahua or something. keke, and hers would be the beast. keke

I got a great deal on the whole thing too. Best Buy has great service. The guy who serviced my car was extremely patient. He put up with all the crap Cedric did to the system. Screwed it up big time, apparently. haha, this would be the second time I've taken my car to Best Buy and both times they've said, "friends don't let friends install stereo systems," lol. Never again. When I was expecting to pay $200 for the whole thing, I only had to pay $90 and with that he put a deck on my dashboard thing so my cd player doesn't look raggedy, made a temporary fix to my front door handle so I can get in through the driver seat again, fixed my heat! I am one happy gal. <3 He said he could install a new door handle if I bought the part for it. It'd be much cheaper than a regular mechanic would charge. I'm totally doing that, so I'll have to tell my dad about it.

I've been missing home a little. I really want to go to bn with Gwyn and hang at her house some more, and I wanna laugh with Stasha about all the inside jokes we have, and go to the movies with buds, and go to Denny's, and sleep in my room, and eat nana's food. It's not a homesick feeling, just a . . . I don't know, a reminiscent one. A nostalgic one. A comfort.

I've made alot of great friends here, but the ones at home are so much more special to me. <33

be blessed.

haerae: (whazz now?)
The other day--monday, I believe--Stasha and I went to Vero Beach in nana's van to attack the outlet malls. It wasn't as special as we'd imagined, but there were major sales everywhere. The best sale was at an actual mall at Rave. Rave had a whole-store blowout sale or something, so everything was 40-70% off. I went ballistic on the mufflers cuz they were all half-off and whatnot.
|
Stasha: Aw, Hollister again? Man, that place smells!
Random man who walks past: Smells like wet gerbils in there.
Stasha: >.>;;
Raeven: *boisterious laugh*
|

* Made my first purchase at Hollister, too! They were still expensive, but I really like their long sleeve tops and hoodies. I didn't get a hoodie, but I DID get a scarf thing that kinda resembles what Yoochun wears on his head sometimes. It was funny-- I wasn't even sure I wanted to buy it until Stasha made that comment about it, then I was like,. "I'm buyin it! xDD"

* Today, nana freaked out because I didn't own a heavy jacket, so she gave me her card to go buy one at JCPennys. I got one at Hollister instead. I didn't know what kinda stuff they put in their clothes, but it's amazingly comfortable! I got a long puffy jacket for $60 on clearance. It's originally $140, so that's a good enough deal, right?

Then I got some boots. She ordered me to get a pair. hehe. Good thing I wanted some too. I had to pay for those though, but they were only $30 at Traffic.

* This Christmas was pretty amazing. Dinner was on point. I made two successful carrot cakes from scratch, and everyone loved it, EVEN I! And some bangin' pie crust for 4 sweet potato pies. I got money for clothes and a dooney & burke giraffe print tote bag from nana, some pjs, a frikkin amazing waffle maker from none other than Dede (the girl's a genius. I didn't even know she knew I wanted one so bad. I'm totally smuggling that into the dorm xDDD), and a mini scale from my mom (for scaling out ingredients when baking. It's supercool! <3). It was a great Christmas. Maybe even the best one yet. I just felt the love of the family this year. I really liked how we came together. Even though we opened gifts at like, 7pm. That's definitely a first. lol

* I haven't even done any new years resolutions. And I have quite a few this year, for once.
The number UNO is to go to the gym at least once a week. That's the minimum.
Numero Dos is to post pictures on my posts.
Numero Tres: update my lj daily.
Numero Cuatro: work on my people skills (because apparently, my mother says, I've let people take advantage of me. I agree with her to an extent, but I mostly just want to be less of a push over.
Cinco: Learn some Korean. More the baby words I know today.
Seis: Expand my vocabulary. Learn a new adjective/noun/verb
Siete: Finish a book (preferably me and Maria's keke. Which is the only one at the moment. hehe)
Ocho: Leave the country. Preferably South Korea.
Nueve: Get a boyfriend. lol Even though that's beyond my control. (waiting on God for this one. hehe) xD
Diez: Have a real stinkin' job. I mean, a REAL job. Not the work-study one I have now. That's not a job.
Once: Read m Bible more. (I barely know any of the stories and can connect any names together with them. And I'd like to study it anywhay. It's about time.)
Doce: Change someone's life. (However that'll happen, and whenever this happens, I'll cross this one out)

* I saw Avatar!!!!!!!!!!! It's my new favorite movie. HANDS DOWN. <33333333 Just piped with amazingness. That's all I have to say.

* Tomorrow's Gwyn's epic New Years Party and I can't wait. I wonder what she has in store for it. hehe Whatever it is, it's gonna be shweet. xDD She got me a bootiful christmas present too. I love her gifts. I use everything she gives me. It's just that good. xDD And I'm excited to give Kriss' gift too. I hope she'll like it. lol, they're mostly things I'd get excited about, but I'm praying we're on the same level. keke. ILU Kriss! I finally get to see you! <33

Okay, now I'm gonna go. I've been wanting to play the sims all day. Stasha's finally off. haha. PEACE! Have an awesome New Years guys! God willing, nothing extremely terrible will befall any of us this year. 2010 sure sounds fantastic. hehe

<33 be blessed.
haerae: (Hongki sleepy)
Wahhhh, I feel like I'm neglecting my friendddssss. I miss them, they miss me, and the only time I've seen or talked to them was on the same day I got home. Sometimes, being busy sucks. I wish I didn't have so many priorities to get done while I'm on my short vacay home. But I can't say it was all because I was being lazy. Well, the first two days were. I kinda just wanted to stay home and you know, be home, then I went with fam to the mall to go Christmas shopping.

On the 19th, I went to a Christmas/Birthday party for a childhood friend. Her name's Tyra. She and a number of other friends who attended, had gone to elementary school with me for more than six years in a row. It was really awesome seeing them again. I mean, they were literally my first real friends; I grew up with them. So I couldn't miss that party. It was fun. Stasha came with me and even she enjoyed it. Omg, everyone in that little class are in college, some are even married, some are out of the country. It makes me squee!

But anyway, I just wanted to say that. And update. hehe. I went to the dentist today, and THANK GOD, this whole crown thing is officially done. I still have other things to get done, but the big thing's done. And you don't know how relieved I am right now. It feels kinda weird having it there, but I guess that's expected.  After Thursday, I'll be free to my friends! ^ ^

Last night, I stayed up till 2 searching for manhwa scans. keke. And I found a comm on LJ primarily for that called manhwadreams (or something) and they still haven't accepted my request to join! They apparently have a huge collection, so I'm like checkin' that thing every half hour for access. lol  I gotta go to the store in a few to get ingredients for Maria's cake. This is what I'm hoping to accomplish by tomorrow. hehe

I haven't gotten everything for it yet, and I hope I have enough money to use for it,but yeah. I'm pretty confident I can do this without the use of fondant to cover it. :D  But hey, I'm gonna go. My comp's acting slow, and I can't see what I've typed fast enough for my liking. Until next time! <3 be blessed.  (man, I'm sleepy!) - Raeven
haerae: (Jaebom sorriez)
I breezed through the rest of fall term, flew home for Thanksgiving break, and came back yesterday, started labs again today, without updating squat on this journal. WOE IS ME! This is my laziness in full force people. I haven't even unpacked my clothes yet.

The night before I left back for school, I went over to Gwyn's just to say bye and retrieve my Hotel Africa manhwas from her, but I ended up staying for a good hour talking with her. It was sooooo nice, omgah! All the good stuff happens when you're close to leaving, I swear. It happens every time for me. We talked about alot of things, about our futures, boys, complicated-feeling-edness, SHINee. . . just stuff. I love times like that. They're special. <3

Stasha got a webcam while we were in Pensecola for Thanksgiving. We went to Best Buy on Black Friday, but the webcams weren't on sale, really. We got a logitech one for $20. I WANTED to get Smallville Season 6, because they had all the seasons for only $10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (those things are worth $50-60 a season *gasp*), but I couldn't find it on the shelf. It stopped at season 5. And Stasha was already in that boa of a line, so I couldn't spend too much time roaming the place till I found it. When we left the store, Stasha told me she saw a whole stinkin bin of Smallville dvd sets. I could have died. We didn't get any Smallville, sadly, so I'm stuck with hunting them down on the internet and using up hard drive space. Oh well. It was my intention anyway.

I took my first taxi on November 20th 2009, ladies and gents! It was THRILLING! I called for one the night before and didn't even know how to ask for one. lol I was like, "Ah em, uh-how---what are your hours?", then the arab guy was like "hehe, m'am, our service is 24 hours," so I was like "Oh! Okay, well. . . " and I told him I needed a ride to the airport at 4:30am the next morning and he asked for my address, and that was it. I got up at 3:30am, so I'd have time to take a shower and figure out what last minute stuff I'd need and then he called my cell telling me he was parked downstairs. He was like, 8 minutes early. That made me happy. I'd heard stories from Nesha and Erin about their cab experiences and both told me theirs were always late. They told me to call a few of them and catch the first one that arrived. I just risked calling one. So I figure I'd give him business next time I need a ride super early in the morning. It was a pretty fancy cab too, with leather seats and tinted windows and such. I thought those were the ones that were most expensive, but apparently, they're the same price as all the other ones in Charlotte. I was highly impressed. :D

When I got home, I didn't get to take a nap at all. Gwyn and I went straight to Tampa to pick up Kriss and we talked the whole way there, catching up, listening to toons, you know, the good stuff. Then, Kriss, Gwyn, and I got Taco Bell, then took Kriss home, stayed at Kriss' for about 30 minutes, then Gwyn picked up Stasha, we reunited there, and she took me to my mom's. I was at my mom's for a good two hours. We had a good chat. She had to take Stasha back to the school at 5:30, so I waited for her to take her up there, then I went home to get ready for Stasha's school's football game at 7:30.

Omg, I was already spacey from being so tired. I got a pretty prominent headache by the time the game was over. And we didn't even go straight home after the game. Since the team one, nana took us to get ice cream at Sonic, then she had to take Stasha's friend home. *sigh* The day was crazily long. But it was well worth it. I had such an awesome day that day. First taxi ride, first football game. xD And Stasha's really not that bad in cheerleading! She and Chengzhi look dorb in their uniforms, doin' they're little moves. It was fun to watch. And the game was intense!!! I had alot of fun.

My bedroom's frikkin magical! That new bed I have. . . I miss it already. Only got to sleep in it for about 5 days. That wasn't enough. :p

* Went to Steak and Shake with Maria, Kara, Chase, Emily Walker, and Ronnie last Tuesday. We caught up and cracked jokes. I LOVE get togethers like that.

* Went to Cassie's thanksgiving party on Tuesday also. That was warm and toasteh fun. <3 The turkey and ham was splendid, but I felt a little awkward for the first hour we were there. Felt kinda out of place, mostly because I hadn't seen the crew in a while, and also because I'm so not in CCS anymore. That must've been it. Surrounded by a bunch a' youngins'. lol With the exception of Gwyn and maybe Andrew, I guess. lol It was still fun, though. Cassie's an awesome friend.

* The trip to Pensecola was very nice. Everyone came this year--everyone back home, that is. Chris, Scooter, Mom, Nana, Papa, Stasha, Dede, Me, Auntie Wyler, and Tyler. My mom, Chris, and Scooter, hadn't been showing up for the last few Thanksgivings we've spent in P-cola, so alot of the fam was very happy to see them.

* I'd been in a fairly crappy mood that whole trip, mostly because of my selfish want to sulk and be moody. I really don't know why I felt so impatient on the drive; maybe riding in vehicles with family did that to a person anyway, but I just got annoyed so easily on that whole trip, pretty much. Maybe it was because I was sleepy? No idea. I don't wanna say it's hormones, because I really can't identify hormones in the first place. I put myself in denial over alot of things like that. >.< I don't know when I'm gonna stop doing that.

* So many babies in the family now! :3 Makes me so happy! I got to hold four of them. <3333333 So squishy, smooth, soft, bubbly! I kind of daydreamed about having kids a few times while I was there. But give me a break--there are NO babies whatsoever in the fam that resides in boring old Palm Bay. If we want to see babies, it's going to be coming from the next gen., which is me, Stasha, and Dede. >____<;; not happening any time soon. So you can imagine my excitement when I lay eyes on babies I'm obligated to hold and love on, because they're part of the famileh! :DD Man, I love babies.

* I haven't written much in the past few weeks, like I should have been. I promised a chapter to Maria on break, and I totally haven't even much started on it. It's depressing. But since she hasn't asked, I'm gonna take the opportunity to try and finish it so I can surprise her. Haven't done that yet. 107,000 words total, though! That's a novel already!!!! <333 Oh man, you don't know how good that feels.

* Well, anyway, it's nice to be back in Charlotte. I found myself missing friends and my room. My dorm bed is actually very comfortable. I want to buy a duvet cover for my comforter at Ikea. They have a very nice selection. It's gotten way colder, cold enough to make my hands feel like I've stuff them in a freezer for long enough, enough to make my face feel uncomfortable and well, cold.

* I was very glad to find that the same students I've been seeing for the past three months are now mixed with a batch of newer students who've moved in for the winter term. There have been much more cuter boys roaming around, and *whispers* more gays. The first guy me and Olivia met--when we were leaving out of the taxi from the airport-- was a cute gay guy in the elevator. I was so bummed. He was adorable, and a waste of boy. My hopes of getting a boyfriend have broadened though.

*Hey hey! I was totally unaware of the new asian guy sitting in front of me in the cafe tonight. OH MAN, I was talking to Portia and absently looked away when a guy caught my attention when he stood. When he turned around, I almost freaked out. His eyes were so hot! He had those sporty kinda intense asian eyes, the narrow ones anime artists usually put on evil or mysterious characters--that kind. But he doesn't look that talkative or friendly, so I don't know if I'm ever gonna talk to him. But that's alright. If this batch isn't all that, maybe Spring term'll be even better!! keke. I'm so desperate. lol

* Okay, I need to sleep now. More tomorrow, hopefully. Peace!!! xD

be blessed. <3

haerae: (Big Bang together)
Can't go to bed until I make a quick entry. I have to make it daily! I have to! Or at least try. If I did this earlier today, I would have finally posted pictures of what I've been doing in class! But I honestly have been busy today. Last minute, though, I did my laundry, hung up my uniforms, tidied up my side of the room, and quickly did my homework. I had to do a sketch of what I want to do my chocolate centerpiece on. It's making me nervous. I think I may have picked a pretty complicated thing to do, with my level of experience, at least. I don't know why I put too much on my plate, but yeah. . . I pray it turns out right when it's time for practical. That'll be the last two days of the week I come back after break.

I want to bring my knife kit with me home for thanksgiving break, but I don't know how I'm going to get it on the plane with me. The only way I can think of it being possible is if I boxed up the bag and had it tossed on with my luggage. I'm going to call the airport to find out, because I have to take it with me, otherwise I'm not baking jack!

My dad's buying my ticket for November 20th, at some time at 6 in the morning (theres not many times to choose from, apparently), so I'm going to have to get up super early and catch the shuttle that leaves from the Starbucks across the street every 30 minutes. Man, it's gonna be cold. -__-

I called my mom today after class. I hadn't talked to her in a couple of weeks. I wanted to tell her I'd learned that if she ate good chocolate everyday, it would help her teeth, and shrink her stomach. The more chocolate liqueur in the chocolate, the better it is for you. So eat chocolate peeps!

She wanted to know how I was and all that jazz, asked about my friends. Somehow, we ended up talking about my dad's side of the family and it was really interesting. I learned things I hadn't known before, like that my grandpa was a very important man (was into politics and stuff), shook hands with former president Ronald Reagan! :D Just interesting facts like that. She also told me that she loved my grandmother's ex-husband because he used to give my mom and dad a huge wad of cash when I was a baby. Cash like $300-500 cash! His name's George. hehe, George. I met him when I went to St. Thomas for a cruise, when we stopped in Antigua. He's a very sweet man, and I think it's precious to see my grand-Lydia catching up with him like best friends do.

So yeah, I've been having really good convos with my mom lately. It's relieving when I get off the phone with her. I think the distance is helping with that alot. <3

I talk to Stasha almost every other day. Either that or every weekend. I rarely call her. She calls me. And gives me updates. lol xD And Dede hasn't even asked about me! She hasn't called once! Well then, she's not getting any gifts from me any time soon. pshh.

Okay. I need to go to bed. Omg, yes I do.

Peace!

And be blessed please! <33

One thing I cannot understand about Dede is the fact that she picks my room out of all rooms to sleep in. First of all, she needs to be at home IN HER OWN BED sleeping. Four or five or maybe even more days out of seven, she's at the grandparent's house playing at a friend's in the neighborhood, then she decides she wants to sleepover, and ALWAYS sleeps in my bed. Look, I just want to be by myself sometimes. When I'm at home, Dede's either calling me to pick her up, Stasha's wanting my attention, or their both wanting me to pick them up. When I'm actually alone, I usually get called to run some errands, then I get home, thinking I have the rest of the day all to myself, when lo-and-behold, Mom brings them over.

Of course, most times I'm fine with it, but when I want to get things done, or when I just don't feel like talking/responding, I don't want to be bothered. Just hear me out! Everyone needs space, including me! If I want the bed to myself, shouldn't I be able to have that happen? It's my bed after all. If there were no free beds in the house, I'd understand, but that's not even the case. If there's a prob with sleeping on the air mattress, then you wouldn't be sleeping over, now would you?

I don't know. I'm calling my mom tomorrow, and I'm gonna tell her I don't want to be going back and forth to pick someone up, especially Dede. I'll take time out to take her somewhere, because I enjoy that. But I don't need to be wasting gas. And it's not like Mom's giving me gas money, so really, if mom can't drive them over, then why do I have to do it? I don't have a job--I don't have money to easily spend on gas. I'm gonna tell her that Dede needs to stay home more often, cuz it's true, and she shouldn't just be able to come over whenever she wants just because she can. >.<;;;

It's just frustrating. I don't like to sleep with other people in the bed; I never get a good night's sleep that way. And for a while, I haven't been getting that. So I'm a little fed up.

But that's alright. I shouldn't complain too much because I may end up regretting it later when I'm away in school, missing family and crap. So I'll shut up.

I feel better now. :3

I'm gonna go to bed now. Be back soon.

be blessed. <3

Oh James, your lyrics are so cute.  <3

Sorry about the unexpected crazyhugegap of entries. I went to Cleveland last week with my grandparents and sisters. It was an awesome trip. Loads of pretty scenery, laughs, and love.

Cleveland's grass is frikkin SOFT! And green! I would have loved to sit out on my uncle Charles' backyard and read while lounging on a blanket. PRECTION!

Anyways, I saw alot of family, my 95 year old grandmother, and caught up with loads of cousins and uncles and aunts that I hadn't seen for 10 years, literally. They were surprised, as was I. xD Family's a beautiful thing. It was great seeing them all together, talking about past memories and taking pictures. *sigh* <33

We left on July 1st, stopped in Charlotte, NC at Mrs. Sonia's house to stay the night, got up the next morning and headed to Cleveland, left Ohio on the 6th, stopped in Charlotte to stay the night, got home on the 8th. We took our time getting places this time, and the whole time we were in Charlotte, we didn't stop at my school once! >.< Oh wellz.

The rest of that week was of sleeping and putting around at home. The whoooole weekend. Oh, and I wrote. Same old thing happened the rest of that week. THEN, my tooth did something odd and unnecessary and caused me great pain all last weekend. I had to endure it until Monday so I could get a dentist appointment. I got no sleep last night because pain medicine wasn't working and I had a looping dream about Michael Jackson. His songs wouldn't stop playing in my head, repetitively. IT WAS INSANE!!! I couldn't take it! I willed myself to think about something else, like SHINee, and once I started playing one of their songs in my head, after a minute, it was back to MJ. @____________________________________@
not cool.

So I gave up at 8:00am, and went to lay down on the couch, watched Golden Girls on tv and fell asleep there for like 5 lame minutes. Then my nana called and told me I could get squeezed into the dentist, so I rejoiced and headed over. I was told to be patient, since I was a walk-in, but I didn't care. I ended up getting in right away, a chinese endodontist ended up doing the root canal, and it was totally painless. I listened to Alex on my Zune while she did it. xDD I think a little of my dentist fears have whithered away, thanks to the nice dentist lady. She even called me a few hours after she did it to see how I was doing. I'm VERY SATISFIED. I can eat sweets now! But I'll be careful. It's a wonderful day indeed. :3 It's a huge relief. You don't even know!

I still have to go back to get more work done on it on the 23rd, and theirs a few more appts after that (before I go off to school), but that'll be alright if I get the same dentist.

Also, I've fallen in love with Alex Eusebio! The cutie from U-kiss. I was already attracted to him a while back, but Stasha and I watched alot of U-kiss stuff and have decided we both really like him AND the group. They only have a small amount of songs and popularity, but their voices are really good and are super hyper, goofy, and cute. And Kevin's undeniably gay with Kibum(Hyungjoon's bro from SS501). Kibum's literally Kevin's master. Their always in pics together, looking all possesive and flirtatious; Kevin's 19 or somethin and has the girliest voice I've ever heard; Kibum likes to bite him and . . . just GAY! But it's kinda cute. I think Gwyn'll like those two. Together. haha!

Update: Observe

<----- Ain't he cute?! (that's kevin on the right/ kibum on the left)

WHY DOESN'T U-KISS HAVE PICSPAMWORTHY AMOUNTS OF PICS?! It's depressing! Maybe if they released more songs, they'd get more fans gah!!! >.<;;;

Alexander, like I said, is my favorite from that group. He's a devoted Christian and he speaks English and he's like a living cartoon character. He's talllllll and his smile makes me want to kidnap him and bumbard him with hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!! xDD He's dorb to the max.

Okay, I'm gonna go and do other stuff now. Peace!

be blessed. <3

Don't you hate them? I can't sleep, so I'm on the comp. until the time hits at least 4am. The same like, 1 minute dream seems to repeat itself over and over, changing slightly but not too much. It's the most annoying, unsettling thing! I get it often and I can't sleep when they happen because it's repetitive and uncomfortable. I can't really explain the feeling.

Maybe it's just cuz I'm not used to going to bed so early! I went to sleep at around 11 tonight, which hasn't been a common occurrence at all lately. I woke up at a little before 1 in the morning, giving up on sleep.

So, I think I'm going to watch Boys Over Flowers until I'm sleepy again or listen to Pandora. ^_^

I got back from Charlotte today. We our family friend, Mrs. Sonia's house at around 7am and didn't get home until 7 at night. >.< But oh well, it was a nice drive. I enjoy traveling. In a car. Not on a plane. But cruises are fine. xD I have to ask my grandmother when that cruise is gonna be!!

Like I said before, North Carolina is beautiful. And JWU's right in the city, downtown, so I can see the skyscrapers right over my head!

And it looks like I'm gonna be living in a dorm, which I'm totally fine with; I just don't know what I'm gonna do if Maria decides to move up with me. But she's very independent, so I don't think she'll mind renting a room from someone, because she's done it before. At least for a year, then we can get an apartment together. ^_^

And I also think I'm leaning towards a bachelor's degree. Apparently, I can get one in Charlotte, but it'll be for Baking and Pastry Arts and Food Service Management, which'll be PERFECT because I can have some education on business and help Gwyn out! I'm really excited. :3 But also nervous.

I really love my cousins. They're so funny and awesome. lawl. My mom's cousins grew up together, so I listened to their past stories and it was hilarious! Again, I learned something about my mom that I didn't know. Since she, Chris, Scooter, nana, and papa, traveled alot and were living in Germany because of papa being in the military, they didn't visit Ohio or Pensecola often. Tracey, Monique, and Tim are siblings and my mom's first cousins (I think that makes me, stasha, and dede their second cousins, idk how that goes). My mom was like, "remember when I came to visit you, Tracey and you guys were still in school?" so then the story began. My mom, when she was in high school, I think, had tagged along with Tracey to some big gathering of her fellow school students. My mom's really pretty, and being that she was from Florida (someone not from Ohio, lol) she got alot of attention. Some of the girl schoolmates were jealous of her and the mean ones went right up to her, thinking she was vulnerable and weak, startted beating her up. They were all shocked when she started fighting back. kekeke. My mom's a tomboy, man, despite her clothes. She is definitely not afraid to fight, and she's good at it from what I've heard.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MOM!! <3

All the stories she told us about her, Scooter, and Chris's adventures are so funny! They climbed trees and yadda yadda. My fam's interesting, very close, HUGE, and loving. Mine consists of the Hollyfields (my papa's side), the McCorveys (my nana's side), and the Browns (my dad's side).

Anyway, I'm gonna go now, since I think I've talked about all I wante to say for today. xD I'm going to the beach with Kara and Allison later today. <3 It should be nice. I'm just hoping none of the sea breeze messes up my hair. >.<

Peace!!
be blessed <3

I gots new headphones! Haha, I took advantage of my grandpa's generosity and hinted that I wanted some big headphones. My nana said she needed some, so he bought her some and I muttered, "aw, I want some too." and acted like it wasn't a big deal and started talking to Stasha, then I heard nana say, "go ahead and get them for her," SCORE! <3 They were only $15 - a set of cheap ones, but they're the ones the big ones that cushion your ears, ya know? And the bass is AMAZING on them. I'M SO SATISFIED! I can die happeh.

I actually got them yesterday while at the commisary. My grandparents literally spent their paychecks on food. $600+ on groceries! Now the kitchen's like a mini convenient store or something! haha! We do this kind of grocery shopping every like, 2 months or something. We grab two or three carts and leave with them filled to the brim, scowering the aisles and pretty much grabbing whatever we like. lol I always sneak 2 or 3 boxes of cake mix and icing in the cart. x) It's a thing you have to invest alot of time for because you go to the store, leave with all these groceries, then you have to go home and put them all up. Then you're all excited about all the food you got, and you want to just pig out and eat it all. Well, that's what I like to think about, but I don't because I just get full and can't eat anymore. haha

Stasha and I had our musicz, so we droned out whatever our nana was telling us to do as we pushed heavy carts and our papa got one of those motor carts people who CAN'T WALK and drove around in it the whole time, which was super funny because he acted like a total kid with it. He's done it twice already, so I think that's the only reason he comes with us. (cuz I know guys don't like to shop, and if they do, they get what they need and leave). Reminds me of that one We Got Married episode when that one old guy didn't want to go grocery shopping with his young wife. It was cute.

The beachside is like the personality of Florida. When we were heading to the commisary, which is like heading to Cocoa Beach, the beaches were packed with either tourists or locals. It looked so fun! All the shops and beach dudes and palm trees that looked way more attractive than bland old Palm Bay. In Palm Bay, it's like "Oh yeah, we live in Florida. . . >.>", but on the beach side, it's like, "Yeah man,. we live in Florida!"

When we were leaving the commisary with a buttload of groceries, one of the grocery loading guys looked like an American-white version of Key from SHINee! With the eyebrows and the body, the whole nine. I got a picture of him, but only of his back. I sent it to Gwyn through phone and and told her it was a terrible shot of the boy, but she just texted me back saying "I'll zoom it up on my compie x)" I LOLed. She LOVES Key. ^_^

He was even acting like Key would! Since Key's like anti-physical, he's rarely seen on shows actually enjoying any physical man-activities. So when I saw the grocery boy riding on the cart he was supposed to be pushing for the customer, I was like, "look at him; he's even being lazy like Key!" HAHA!

Last night, before Stasha and I were gonna watch some dramas, we watched 30 seconds of my new fanvid. I wanted to do a seductive music video for no reason really, just cuz I found a RnB song in my collection, thought it was sexy-sounding and went with it. It's such a perverted song too, uck, but I only pay attention to the beats of the song, and the sexiness of it. hehe. It's mostly gonna have scenes of kpop peeps in clubs with girls and such. A buncha trash, but whateves. It's a typical music video! I'm bound to have one like that eventually. Stasha liked it so far, cuz of Wheesung. Man, he's HOT. I really wanted to focus on my timing on the clips so they seemed like they were dancing with the song and stuff.

We also watched my pimpish vid starring TVXQ and Stasha was like, "omo, I can make a fanfic about this!" and so we constructed a story out of it while watching it and got all excited. So now it's in production haha! I'm excited. It's supposed to be super serious and bad. Like bad-boy bad. We've wanted to do one like that for some time, but couldn't get anything out of it. And we want it to had a heaping helping of characters in it, like crazy amounts of surprise appearances, like my fanfic A Hardcore Story's supposed to have. I'm totally revising it, cuz I started it back in 2006 and it disgusts me when I read it now. >.<

So yeah, we watched this new Taiwanese drama called Prince Princess 2 and it's ADORABLE! I REALLY REALLY LIKE IT! <3 At first, it sounds like a bunch of crack and you can't really understand what's going on, but I really like the concept. Only finished watching one episode, but I think I'm gonna stay up and watch a whole bunch of it tonight. heehee. xD

And what the heck, I stayed up until 1 last night and woke up at 12:40am. That's outrageously ridiculous! I was so disappointed. And I blame my beloved bed. Oh well. I think I'm gonna jump on my World Religions term paper today, though it's due on Wednesday at midnight. But I might as well cuz I have a lesson plan for Comm. 2 due on Tuesday, so I should just get it out of the way. Man, I haven't hung out at anyone's house this weekend! I guess that's alright because I'm getting stuff done, but it feels weird! I'm always either at Gwyn's house or Kriss's. :3 I miss em' hehe. xD

I baked a marble cake last night, btw. And I'm gonna do strawberry cupcakes today for World Religions class, just cuz. <3

Well, I'm gonna go now. Peace!

be blessed. <3
